The amount and diversity of medical data, especially genome data, have been increasing rapidly. We are focusing on developing fundamental big data informatics technologies that could drive medical science to the next stage. Our research includes algorithm theory, information retrieval, privacy preserving technologies, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and their applications to medical science.
