It is the only humanities laboratory in the Institute of Medical Science, where we study the intersection of advanced medical science and society. In addition to research ethics and medical ethics, we emphasize such areas as medical care, welfare, labor, family, community, and culture, and aim to conduct policy research from a perspective rooted in the lives of patients and subjects.
